The Lighthouse is a community meal program and outreach ministry serving Orangeville and surrounding areas. Our mission is to shine the light of Christ through love, hospitality, and compassion — offering food, friendship, and hope to anyone in need.

Everyone is welcome! Whether you’re in need of a warm meal, some company, or simply a safe place to rest for a while — our doors are open to you. No cost, no registration, no questions asked.

We serve a free community lunch Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
Doors open a few minutes before serving begins. We are closed on statutory holidays. -
When possible, we also provide small care packages, warm clothing, and referrals to local agencies for housing, addiction support, and mental-health services. Our goal is to meet both practical and spiritual needs.

Yes. We are a registered charity, rooted in the Christian call to love our neighbours. While our mission is guided by faith, you are not required to attend church or participate in prayer to receive a meal — everyone is welcome and respected.

Absolutely! Volunteers are the heartbeat of The Lighthouse. We’re always looking for people to help serve meals, wash dishes, chat with guests, or assist behind the scenes. Please visit our contact page to start the process!
